Coaching Philosophy -

For one to make the best of one self, dedication, respect and trust are imperative. Respect your coaches, teammates, and most importantly your talent! Dedicate your entire self to your practice and trust that you can reach your goals.

My main motivation in coaching is teaching participants to reach goals they never imagined was possible. Often the less talented can be the most rewarding as they receive the biggest change for the positive in their personal perspective.Seeing them succeed and win is something special, and means just as much to me as the gymnasts; their smiles are priceless.

For the more elite, being able to give them challenges that they cannot easily solve is interesting. Watching as they learn to approach with respect, so they can find their own deeply hidden talents is rewarding.

To me, good coaching is based purely on leadership… a positive example… and instilling respect in your athletes

Personal Goals that I aim to achieve -

  • Achieve all my competition squad to qualify at British grade finals standard 2017.  (2 gymnasts have met the requirements for this year)
  • 3 gymnasts to make British Championships 2017.
  • 3 gymnasts to be selected for the Welsh national squad 2017. (1 gymnast already maintained her place from 2016)
  • Send 2 volunteers from the club to achieve their coaching qualifications 2017.
  • Hold a club competition at Olivia's School Of Rhythmic Gymnastics, December 2016.

Why Me?

Here's a little bit about myself during my gymnastic career, I was a member of the Welsh 2014 Rhythmic Commonwealth Games Squad where all my dedication and commitments become normality, retained my place in the Welsh National Squad or 7 years running whilst competing for Wales at several internationals. I am enthusiastic and very passionate about my chosen sport.
